NIPPERS PROGRAM

Nipper Junior Activities (5-13 years) This is for younger people who want to have fun and learn the basic skills in Surf Life Saving.This category is commonly known as ‘Nippers’ with the emphasis on fun and participation. ‘Nippers’ is designed to provide an educational experience in a wide range of skills within the aquatic environment.

MEMBERSHIP FEES 2023-24

Junior Activity Member (5-13yrs) - $50

Cadet Member (13-15yrs) - $50

First parent of a Junior or Cadet Member $10

Active Member (15-18yrs) - $50

Active Member (18yrs and over) - $50

Family Membership - $120

Associate Members - $30

Please note: One parent must join the Robe Surf Life Saving Club with a Junior or Cadet Member

HOW TO JOIN

Existing/Renewing Members

Log into your Member Portal to renew your membership for the season. Don’t forget to update all contact information and pay your fees.

For parents renewing memberships for Nippers please ensure you update all medical details. Health forms will not be requested for this season, a parent must always be on the beach for Nippers.

NIPPER PARENTS NOTE: For Nipper membership at least one parent must also be registered, and a parent will need to accompany the child to Nipper activities (and join in too!).

New Members

If you have NEVER been a member of a SLSC your membership is conducted through the Surf Life Saving Australia portal.  Follow the steps below.

Step 1: Apply

Click on SLSA Joining for New Members

  • Scroll to the bottom of the screen to ‘No’ and select Join

  • Select ‘Surf Life Saving Club’

  • Scroll Down ‘Surf Life Saving Club’ from the options

  • Search For “Robe SLSC (SA)” as the club you want to join

  • Select Family or Individual.

NOTE: If applying as a family you must apply for EACH family member (starting with the ‘primary’ member, which might be yourself) then the others on subsequent rows.

The system will prompt you to set up an SLSA Member Area account. This is essential for club payments, renewals and change of details.

Step 2: Pay

At the end of this process you will be asked to pay with a credit card. Click on the ‘make payment’ button that appears after you have submitted your application(s).

Please note that your membership application will not be progressed UNTIL payment is received. Once you’ve applied, even if you’ve skipped payment, a generic automatic email will come to you from Surf Life Saving Australia that implies that you should wait to hear from the club.
